Fully Furnished!

Fins arrived this week from Spence - This, a Paul Gross 9" nail, is a modified stage 6 fin for all hulls 8" and under. Much more upright than GL or L-Flex fins and thinner to the tip, way more narrow at the base. Looks incredible. All hulls will be furnished with either PG Whaletails/GL Flexs or these new PG 9" nails. Spoons and longer hulls can enjoy the PG "Big Red" foiled from 1/2" panels by Larry.

Also a batch of 8" Paul Gross Whale Tails - a couple are going with this Simmons - single and/or twin.

homeless hulls...

Got a little over excited and squeezed out an extra couple of Spence hulls while soaking up some spare blanks, and why not. Result; a homeless 7'7 roundtail smoothie - this chap comes with a GL Flex or Paul Gross 9" nail fin. Happy to deliver, but you're welcome to come over for a cup-a-tea and cop a feel. £495.00

Smorgasbord.

Just finished these for Spence. Left to right: 6'1 Stand Up velo designed by Paul Gross, 6'10 Smoothie and 8'4 'Baby' Simmons refined by Paul. Simmons ridden as a twin or single with PG Whaletail flex fins and 3 x 10" fin boxes. Really enjoyed making these. Stand-up velo is going to be an interesting ride, made for a mate of mine with better waves in mind. Simmons just to trim and simmer in its own style. Bigger 9'8 next....

Stand up Velo....

6'1 stand-up velo - designed by Spence and Paul Gross. Just finished and glassed ready for Michael. Tactile....hard not to fondle when no ones looking. Extraordinary.

I'm thinking we'll be making many more of these in the near future - come and have a look if you're in the area.

spooned twins

Jeff Mccallum sent me these photos last night. Its stuff like this that makes my day...probably week. These are hard really hard to build, very labour intensive, and painstaking skill goes into making a shape like this work well. Spence Kellogg posted some Paul Gross spoons on swaylocks and ever since seeing them, I've been intrigued. Jeff managed to break this spoon at cloud break....rigorous testing? top stuff Jeff...I always look forward to your emails.
